In 2007 SPIN put out an ad on VolunteerMatch.org for a designer to help them out with their biannual newsletter. Marie stepped up and offered to design the initial newsletter template and produce each of the two annual newsletters every year since. Although much of the collaboration between the writers and editors is done over the phone or through emails, Marie also attends many of the volunteer meetings that are held through-out the year.
