Pianocraftsman
North Reading, MA
For Pianocraftsman, we have designed several marketing pieces. When they came to us, they were working with one designer for all their marketing needs but there was no consistency. Often, each project had it's own design and fonts. And, their logo was inconsistently used with and without the tag line.
First, we started by adding the tag line to their logo. Next, they asked for us to design a "poster" a stand-alone piece that Paul could leave behind after he tuned a piano, with his business cards placed in the front pocket. For this piece we introduced a two-color palette and we picked up the colors from the web site. We also educated them on the use of photos in their advertisements, and how it would cost the same to print as when they used their piano clip art. Not to mention, be a great way to highlight the pianos that Paul has restored. They also run ads in many local school function programs, and we have created a design that can be easily and inexpensively reproduced for these black and white publications.
"Marie is a master at her profession
and is always ‘on the ready’ to help
with any type of advertising for my
business. Her work is always ‘right on’
(reducing many – if any) revisions.
She takes ownership and is delightful
to work with. I highly recommend her." – Paul
